- Teenagers often know more about technology than their parents so they do not fear a probing adult finding their encounters with bullying.

- Get closer to your children so they feel more comfortable telling you about bullying.
- Keeping active in your child's school life will help discourage other kids from bullying.
- Every time you have the chance to observe your child and their life, take it.
- If you know your child is being bullied at school, contact a school official such as a counselor or principal.
- Educate yourself and your child on all types of bullying.
- Never provoke fighting fire with fire.
- Be aware of the signs of a bully or a victim of bullying.
